Tom also held journalism posts at various national and local news organizations, and wrote extensively for business publications. He continues to write in his spare time today.

Tom is a lifelong resident of Tiverton, a Rhode Island costal community located in Newport County, where he lives with his wife Jayne, and his Jackie Russell, Dazzle.
